Orthodontic Treatment

We now offer Clear Correct "invisible braces" - Please call for more information.

At Three Kings Dental Centre Dr. Linda Jiang is able to offer an orthodontic service to both children and adults to improve both the appearance and function of your teeth. Both Dr. Linda Jiang and Dr. Lucy Han are able to offer ClearCorrect "Invisible Braces" as option too.

Dr. Linda Jiang is a general dentist with an active interest in, and talent for, orthodontics. She regularly attends practical workshops and seminars to ensure that she remains up to date with new techniques and materials.

Dr. Lucy Han is able to provide an alternative to "traditional" braces by offerring Clear Correct "invisible braces". No more wires and brackets, just a series of professioanally fabrocated trays to wear. Clear Correct is a series of clear, custom-made, removable aligners that gradually straighten your teeth as you wear them, each aligner moving your teeth just a little bit at a time.

They're practically invisible, so most people won't even know you're in treatment, they fit you perfectly, so they're more comfortable than regular braces, and they're removable, so you can eat whatever you like and clean your teeth normally.

If you are interested in orthodontic treatment the place to start is an initial consultation. During this appointment Linda or Lucy will listen to your concerns with the appearance of your teeth, examine and then discuss what they believe can be improved. At this appointment they will be able to provide you with an estimate of the total cost as well as the time the treatment is expected to take.

The next step is to proceed with a comprehensive diagnostic exam. The nature of this appointment varies depending on the case but may involve the taking of a series of photos and impressions of your teeth as well as referring you to have two specialist x-rays taken. Once this has been competed we will make a time for you to come back to discuss the results of the diagnostics and look over the treatment plan(s) and provide you with an accurate quotation.

Unfortunately orthodontic treatment must be paid for privately and is not funded or subsidized through the Ministry of Health. However, we do offer interest free payment terms to spread the cost out over the time of the treatment.
